For Grace’s 5th Grade Art Project, we bought a pack of 4×4″ canvases, divided Van Gogh’s famous painting into a 5×4 grid, and assigned each student a section to paint.
When they were done, I glued their small paintings onto a sheet of 1/4″ plywood, built a frame from purpleheart, and then etched their names onto the back with our laser cutter. It was auctioned at the school’s spring fundraiser.
