Rockler Pens

For Christmas 2017, I got a JET 12×21″ variable speed wood lathe. Turning is a unique type of woodworking and a lot of fun.

My first projects were pens and pencils (and a seam ripper) made from bloodwood, padauk, bocote, olive, acrylic, and even a glow-in-the-dark “moon rock”.

Over the years I’d revisit my pen press with various acetates as well as rosewood, wenge, granadillo, and zebrawood.
